About the Role
Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails, both on the front-end and back-end.
Collaborate with clients and team members to gather requirements and translate them into functional, user-friendly applications.
Design, build, and test scalable and robust APIs.
Implement responsive and visually appealing front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
Optimize applications for performance, speed, and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
Ensure code quality through writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in web development.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and functionalities.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and relevant libraries.
Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Experience with database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modeling.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Be able to deploy and maintain a Ruby on Rails application on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
